NV Solar Incentives Program is fully-subscribed and the 5% Rebate has been suspended as of 06/05/2019!
The Solar Incentives program is fully-subscribed. As of June 5, 2019 the NV Energy has completely disbursed $246 Million solar rebates/incentives to 31,000 residential, commercial, and institutional customers who availed of the NV solar incentives (through an inquiry with NV Energy Business Dept. Clerk on 06/21/2019). With the suspension of the 5% rebate, customers, who wish to install rooftop solar may still participate in net metering and apply to have their solar system interconnected. They will be automatically placed on the Net Metering Rider (NMR) 405 - see NMR-405 Overview below and also inquire with your solar company for more details.
Please Note:
If an incentive renewable energy application was submitted after June 5, 2019, this application will automatically be converted to a non-incentive renewable energy application and an application fee is no longer required.
If a fee is paid, it will be refunded to the original form of payment. If an application is applying for an energy storage incentive, the application fee is still required.
